Pam started playing saxophone
in 6th grade when her middle school music teacher needed a
tenor sax player for jazz band and asked her if she wanted
to try it. Although the sax was almost as big as she, Pam
went for it and has not looked back since!
Throughout the years Pam has mostly concentrated on Jazz,
playing at clubs, weddings, restaurants, and special events
with many groups including the "Blue Moon Jazz Quartet"
and the "Northeast Corridor Jazz Trio". She has
also sat in with many blues and rock bands, but playing in
an R & B / Oldies band with a horn section is what Pam
has always preferred.
The Gashouse Gang is her third band of this style and her
favorite to date. And growing up with four older brothers
conditioned her to fit right in with this group of guys!
