Rich's primary career experience encompasses many different facets in the world of music and education. As a freelance musician, Rich has performed with a gamut of various music organizations in the NYC/Tri-State Area. A teacher by vocation, he teaches both Music and Social Studies in North Jersey. A trombonist since 4th grade, he added to his arsenal of heavy metal instruments in later years, using scientific experiments to learn both the euphonium and tuba. Now he is a heavy metal doubler that, when not playing with Gashouse, gigs with TZB Music out of Ossining, NY, and occasionally with the Moonlighter Swing Orchestra out of Paramus, NJ. In a previous life, he also performed with ERA 2000 (Italian Wedding Band based in NY), Big Train, the Logistical Nightmares, as well as numerous freelance performances throughout the tri-state area such pit orchestras, church gigs, etc..etc...etc...etc....
